Bunge, a global producer of food oils, required the expertise of Buttimer engineering for the project at the Port of Swinoujscie, Poland. This was quite a large-scale project, with work beginning in 2009 and being completed in 2011, meaning it proved to be extremely but also extremely lucrative. Buttimers commitment to offering workable and well thought out solutions to customers problems meant that we were able to overcome a number of daunting challenges. This problem-solving ethos was key to the success of this project

Buttimer Polska were involved in the original installation of all above ground equipment at this site. This involved the installation of conveyors (capable of handling up to 800 T/H) and other heavy equipment. The installation of the materials handling system was also overseen and carried by Buttimer along with the fitting of all Galvanized Mild Steel. On top of this, Buttimer were responsible for all on-site maintenance for the duration of the project. As stated, this was a challenging project in many ways, but they were challenges which Buttimer tackled with relative ease.
